Terms and Conditions for Royal Kensington Chauffeurs
- Booking Notice: A minimum of 6 hours’ notice is required for all online bookings. For bookings with less than 6 hours’ notice, please call our help-line at 0207 373 6644.
- Punctuality: While we strive to ensure our drivers are punctual, we are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- Driving Standards: Our drivers will drive at safe and sensible speeds, adhering to road conditions, traffic, and legal speed limits.
- Client Responsibility: Clients are liable for any damage caused to the interior or exterior of the vehicle during hire and will be billed for any necessary repairs or valeting to restore the vehicle to working order.
- Subcontracting: We may occasionally provide subcontracted vehicles.
- Email Communication: By providing your email address, you consent to Royal Kensington Chauffeurs contacting you via email. We promise never to share your email with any third party.
- Journey Variations: Any changes or variations, including extra mileage, to the agreed journey at the time of booking will incur additional charges according to the pricing structure on our website.
- Vehicle and Chauffeur Changes: We reserve the right to change your vehicle or chauffeur if necessary.
- Timeliness: Every effort will be made to ensure our vehicles or subcontracted vehicles arrive on time.
- Route Selection: Our chauffeurs will choose the most appropriate route on the day, unless otherwise instructed by the customer at the time of booking.
- Insurance: Our vehicles and subcontracted vehicles are fully insured for passenger and third-party claims. However, customers’ property is carried at their own risk, and we are not liable for any loss or damage.
- Lost Property: We maintain a lost property book at our office and will endeavor to return any lost goods left in our vehicles or subcontracted vehicles to the customer.
- Right of Refusal: Our chauffeurs have the right to refuse service to any passenger under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior poses a threat to the chauffeur, vehicle, or other passengers.
- Non-Smoking Policy: A strict non-smoking policy is enforced in all our vehicles.
- Holiday Surcharge: Online quotations do not account for public and bank holidays, such as Christmas Day or New Year’s Eve, where additional surcharges may apply. Please indicate on the quote form if your booking is for a bank holiday or any other special date.
- Client’s Statutory Rights: Nothing in these terms and conditions affects the client’s statutory rights.
